This also allows us to discuss choreographic and musical questions personally at a later stage while reviewing your video footage together, whether it is a freestyle video or footage from a competition.

Once you decide to commission a production, a deposit is required to confirm the order. The invoice will be sent by email.

To begin the production, we need the freestyle video showing the choreography as well as the client’s musical ideas and preferences, which can also be sent conveniently via WhatsApp.

Based on this material, we create one or several suitable music selections, taking into account all the important criteria for successful freestyle music. These selections are then sent to the client for review. We provide professional, performance-oriented advice — the final decision always remains with the client.

For the creation of a choreography, we need competition or training footage of the horse, together with detailed information about the horse’s strengths and areas that may require particular consideration. We then discuss everything personally and develop a choreography and line plan tailored specifically to the horse.

The choreography should then be ridden at competition tempo and filmed with a smartphone. It does not have to be perfect! ;-)

This depends on when we receive the freestyle video and your musical preferences. Once both are available, the production can be firmly scheduled.

During the quieter part of the season, the completed freestyle music is usually ready within approximately two weeks. During the high season from April to September, production can take up to four weeks.

If a choreography also needs to be created beforehand, please allow an additional one to two weeks after we receive the relevant competition or training footage.

The price depends on the amount of work involved and the type of production. We offer three production categories. In every category, the movements and required elements are fully highlighted and musically developed:

1. A standard music edit based on original tracks and instrumental versions, including basic musical accents.
2. An extended music production including additional elements such as melodies, rhythmic layers, modern sounds or orchestral elements.
3. An exclusive composition in which the complete music is individually arranged and recorded by musicians.

Depending on the chosen production level, prices range from several hundred to several thousand euros.

Pricing is always discussed transparently in advance.

We produce individual freestyle music for all levels from L level upwards.

We do not sell ready-made or pre-produced freestyles. Every production is individually tailored to the horse and rider.

The key elements are a precise fit, a cohesive overall sound and music with emotional impact — regardless of the musical genre.

Musical taste is, of course, highly individual. But regardless of personal preferences, one principle always applies: you should be able to hear what you see, and the music has to communicate the movement and character of the horse.

For example, powerful and dramatic music will rarely suit an elegant, light-footed horse with flowing movements. Likewise, an uncontrolled mixture of very different musical styles usually creates a restless and inconsistent overall impression.

The horse’s individual movement patterns should also be reflected in the rhythm, structure and character of the music.

To save our clients both time and money, we have developed a special concept for the M & S levels as well as St. Georg & Intermediate.

We initially produce a base freestyle, usually for the lower level. Either immediately or at a later stage, this freestyle can be upgraded to the higher level for an additional fee, including a newly produced canter section.

This means you receive two freestyles for less than one and a half times the price of a single production.

A little forward planning can therefore be very worthwhile.

For more than 25 years, we have combined musical expertise with extensive knowledge and experience in horses and dressage.

This comprehensive understanding allows us to provide highly qualified advice on both choreography and music — and it can also be heard in the way our freestyle music is produced.

As a former dressage trainer up to Grand Prix level for an international sales stable, I spent more than 20 years riding and training hundreds of sport horses.

This experience provides a particularly refined understanding of different horse types, movements and dressage exercises.

Creating beautiful music alone is not enough. The music must reflect the character of the horse, its gaits and the individual movements.

For example: what does an extended movement feel like when ridden? That feeling must also be audible in the music.
